4.3 Patch Updates
Guildzilla has been updated to include the latest content from Warcraft's Patch 4.3. This update included the new bosses, achievements, recipes and wowprogress t13 rankings. Contact support if you discover anything we've missed that you would like to see added.
Google Malware Notice within CKEditor (fixed)
The issue with the malware notice as a result to the CKEditor's (the text editor) spellchecker plugin has been resolved at our end.
You will need to clear out your cache if you are still seeing the error.

Premium Only Service
We mentioned back in March that it was coming, and it's been a long battle... Unfortunately we just can't provide free service anymore.
We've done everything we can to compensate for the massive amount of free sites, but we've finally hit the wall, it's just not possible anymore.
Sites using our free service we're occupying a great majority of the server and bandwidth resources which overtime started to cause lag and even database connection problems. This isn't fair to our premium customers, as they are the ones who are paying for everyone's servers to begin with.
Forums: Over the next few hours we will be partitioning the forums database, this will help further increase the load speed while navigating your forums.
Forum trends ...
Re-built from the ground up, rather then one huge database table it's now partitioned into 100 smaller tables. Everything seems pretty stable so far!

T12 Rankings Added
The Progression / Rankings page and the Wowprogress.com widget have been updated to show the T12 rankings!
Latency Issues
We've found the cause of the recent latency issues that may have effected your viewing experience during heavy traffic points during the day. We have temporarily disabled the forum read/unread status system while we work on an alternative solution (code wise) for it. This was the source of the issues. Once fixed we will remove this post and re-enable the service.
4.2 Firelands
Firelands has been added to your Guildzilla Guild Site, this updates include:

These updates were fast tracked for the upcoming release, additional updates for other parts of your guild site will be posted soon, we are also still wrapping up things with our new main site design (lots of new stuff).
Calendar Absent Status / Recruitment Applications
We added a new status to the calendar, labeled as Absent. You can use this status to mark those who didn't respond, or show up for one of your guild events. We also added it as a statistic under the calendar (premium guilds).
A bug causing the recruitment application private comments to show out of order has been resolved.
A loophole was discovered that would allow some guild members to access the Recruitment application private comments after being accepted into the guild, as a result we have disabled private comments from showing once an application status has been adjusted outside of 'Pending'. Comments are not deleted, and if you need to see them you can toggle the applicants status back to pending to review them.
Forum trends re-enabled.
The forum trends, the feature that lets you know if you've already looked at the most recent posts on a forum thread, has been re-enabled.
Tabard Troubles
Another bug was found with the tabard widget, it has been resolved. If you are still having trouble with it make sure your guild name is spelled correctly on the Guild Admin / Settings page, if that doesn't solve it then please let us know!
Tabard Widget / Loot History / Guild Cleanup
Bug: Tabard Widget The bug preventing the tabard widget from updating has been resolved.
Bug: Loot History The bug related to the search function of the loot history page has been resolved.
Improvement: Guild Cleanup Stage 1 of our Guildzilla Speed/Reliability process has been completed! All inactive guilds have been removed from Guildzilla. We will begin Stage 2 on Monday, which includes minimizing external javascript and css files, no down time will be needed for this stage.
Voice Widget / inactive guilds 1st notice
Voice Widget Bug
The vent/teamspeak widget should be working again, the bug was the result of the associated server crashing on us. We gave the server a good kick, and it seems to be back on track.
1st Notice
In an effort to help cleanup Guildzilla we launched a script a few weeks back that began monitoring for inactive guild sites. The first notices have been sent to the inactives, and in 2 weeks the final notice will be sent, followed by removal of inactive guild sites. This cleanup should substantially increase the speed of Guildzilla. Database related issues should also be a resolved as a result of this cleaner.
Guild Site Auditor / Logo Builder / Custom Avatars
Guild Site Auditor
In an effort to speed up Guildzilla, and keeping the servers clean we’re launching an auditor script that will be removing inactive guild sites. In the next few days the first notice emails will be sent, and towards the end of the month the first round of inactive guild sites will be removed. Premium guilds will not be affected by the auditor script. A guild site is flagged and removed as inactive if no one logs into it for 30 days. 2 notices will be sent prior to removal (on the 15 & 28 day mark), if you receive a notice all you need to do is login to your guild site and you will be removed from the inactive list.
Logo Builder / Custom Avatars
A bug preventing the logo builder & custom avatars from uploading has been resolved. The bug was a result of an adjustment we made last week related to cleaning up static content on non-static servers. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you or guildies. If a guildy has a broken avatar in the forums tell them to re-upload it.
Cataclysm Heroics / Auto-Roster Updater Fixed

Additional Cataclysm Heroic Raids have been added to the progression section of your guild sites.
Auto-Roster Updater Fixed
You may have noticed guild members missing from your roster. The issue was the result of Blizzard adding pagination on the guild roster armory pages and limiting the number of players per page to 100.
We have worked around the implement and data is importing properly. It should take a few hours for all the guilds in the system to catch up.
Hit Counter / Recipe Removals / Untitled Videos
Feature - A new feature has been added to the Hit Counter sidebar widget, it now allows you to manually set the numeric value of it. To adjust yours visit the Guild Admin / Widgets / Hit Counter Settings page.
Bug - You can now remove recipes linked to players that have deleted there characters.
Bug - Videos posted without labels are now accessible through the list, if no label is provided it will be marked as Untitled.
News - A new version of our guildzilla homepage will be going live sometime in the next few weeks. Additional features will be added to this side of the site. Stay tuned for more info.

Progression Page Bug / Floating Chat / Admin
A few internet explorer specific bugs have been identified and fixed in the system. People having trouble with the progression page not saving data visit and try again (you may have to do a hard refresh). In compatibility mode the floating private chat bar was rendering incorrectly, this has also been resolved. Finally, within the admin the page background wasn't expanding as intended with the content of the page, this IE specific bug has also now been resolved.
Wow Progress Widget / QDKP / 10 man mode bug
The Wow Progress side bar Widget has been updated to show the T11 stats. Visit the Guild Admin / Widgets / Wow Progress [Settings] page to upgrade yours.
QDKP loot system has been updated to utilize the new xml export layout.
The bug showing 25 man content on the new progression system for guilds currently in 10 man mode has been resolved. This content should now be hidden once again.
Roster Updates & Guild Level widget
Today we released an update to the roster system for guilds utilizing the import from armory feature.
This feature has been upgraded to work with the new armory system and includes the use of the new character avatar/icons. In addition, using this feature along with the Guild Level homepage widget will now automatically update the widget to the current level.
With the new armory Guildzilla has to ping multiple pages to gather all the data it uses. Due to the way that this currently works we've been forced to make the importing from armory a premium only feature, to help keep down the # of requests bouncing off of Blizzards armory servers.
All guilds using the armory importing feature will now automatically have their roster data update several times a day. The nice thing about this is, as your guild gets more and more decked out in gear your character icons on your roster will show it!
It should take about 1-2 hours (from the time on this post) to finish updating all the guilds currently in the system. While you are waiting you can see how it looks with all the new character icons by visiting Spatula City's roster: http://spatula.guildzilla.com/roster.html

It's not often that we promote a non-guildzilla feature, but you have to see the setup over at ScreenshotStudio.com. This great little tool makes it easy to watermark your screenshots with your guild logo. Watermarking your screenshots adds a sweet level of professionalism to them, and to your guild site! Best of all, this service is free.
Progression section overhaul!
The Progression section of your guild site just got an epic upgrade!
The main goal was to clean things up, most importantly isolating the old lich king content without removing it.

Recipe section, new and improved!
We just released a new version of the Recipe section on your guild sites, go check it out!
We created a new interface, and added sorting/filtering capabilities as well as packed it up with the hottest Cataclysm recipes, patterns, cuts and chants!
Armory upgrades = Guildzilla upgrades!
If you haven't noticed, Blizzard has released a new armory site, and has pretty much ditched the old one without much of a notice. As a result we have re-coded our parsers to work with this new armory setup.
Along the way we discovered some sweet new player avatar icons which we have integrated into the system. All newly added characters will automatically use the new icons; characters previously in the system can do a simple armory update on their 'My Characters' page to snag the latest.
We're still waiting for Blizzard to release the guild portion of the new armory, and until then you won't be able to use the roster from armory updating feature.
We've also verified Goblin and Worgen support, and everything seems to be purring along smoothly on those levels!
Make sure you tell your guildies to visit the My Character pages and click the links to Update their characters. The icons from the old armory still load, but they are very sluggish, upgrading your character data will help speed back up your guild sites.

Advanced Customization Community
The Advanced Customization Community is now open! Have a visit and learn how to make your guild site even more unique with the customization capabilities of CSS available here on Guildzilla.
We've also started a CSS code library on this mini site, within it you can find code bits that you can copy/paste into your own guild site to tweak it out.
Check it out today, you can login with your current Guildzilla account (you will have to add and auto-rank your character before you can post).
Widget Improvements (Left Column has arrived!)
Within the Guild Admin we renamed the 'Applications' section to 'Widgets'. This was to help eliminate confusion between the home page widgets and recruitment applications.
We finally released a left hand column for your home page widgets! Visit the Guild Admin / Widgets section to move your widgets on over to the new column. If you use both columns, the width of your homepage will be increased to compensate for the needed extra space.

Roster: Guild Master display name (on-site mode)
If your guild site is using the on-site roster mode, you can now adjust the display name of the Guild Master label.
Visit the Roster / Config page or the Guild Admin / Ranks / Specialty Ranks / Guild Master page to change the display name of your roster's guildmaster specialty rank.
Bug Fix: Forum Posts/Previews (in IE)
A bug causing the handling of the page after a preview or post of a new forum thread (or reply) in some older versions of Internet Explorer has been addressed, and fixed.
Cataclysm Dungeons, Raids, Bosses & Achievements!
Cataclysm Dungeons, Raids, Bosses & some Achievements are now live on your Guild Calendar & Progression / Achievements pages.
New Feature: Homepage Showcase
You can now feature a slideshow like media showcase above or below your guild news on your homepage. View a sample of this at http://spatula.guildzilla.com/ above the news. A list of configuration options include: Position on page, Specific Gallery Folder, Sort order (newest, oldest, random), delay between slides, and a toggle for showing or hiding captions. Hovering over the showcase will show next/last navigation buttons.
To enable this feature visit your Galleries section, under the navigation bar on the left is an option Showcase Config, click this to enable and configure your media showcase.
Support system upgrades under development
With Cataclysm right around the corner, we decided now would be a good time to improve on some of our support systems.
For starters, we will be revamping the Request Features section. The main change for this section will be around organization, we will be adding a category level to the system, where each category will be a separate part of the site.
We will also be bringing back our bug reporting system, this time with a few changes. The main change being it will be on a global scale, rather then the previous guild level.
We also have some minor improvements in the works for our current support ticket system.
As each of these improved sections goes live we will make an announcement post on this blog.
New Widget: Guild Level & Perks (Cataclysm)
Our newest homepage widget will let you feature your guild's level and unlocked guild perks earned as you progress through Cataclysm, check it out on http://spatula.guildzilla.com/.
Visit your Guild Admin / Applications / Browse Apps section to add it to your guild site. You can play around with it by adjusting your level on the settings page for this widget. Once Blizzard releases the update to the armory featuring this variables value we will automate the updating process.

Guild news improvements!
We added a few upgrades and adjustments to the guild news section of your guild sites, they include:
Sticky News - You can now select news topics that will always stay at the top of your news reel. To sticky or un-sticky news posts first hover over the post, then click on the Push-Pin icon that appears next to the edit and delete icons. Only guild admins will see and be able to use this tool.
Who Posted - Newly added news posts will now show you who posted them at the top right of the post, next to the date.
Easier picture / video posting - We took our new editor that we created for the version 2.0 of the forums and added it to the Add News section. This will make posting pictures & videos much easier then what was previously available.
List Support - We tweaked the way lists display on the news page, they should be a little easier on the eyes now.
News topics per page - The number of News topics that are displayed per page has been increased from 5 to 10 posts.

New forums will be released tomorrow!
We've been in the lab on our new forums for some time, and tomorrow you will finally get to put it to use! Once it's released you will need to visit the Guild Admin / Forums section of your guild sites to enable it. We also made it so you can jump back and forth between the new and old version (for my friends that just don't like change).
This upgrade is a full overhaul of the forums; everything has been rebuilt from the ground up with our main focus on usability, security and speed. We also added a number of new features, and greatly improved a lot of the old ones.
A few of the new features and upgrades include: Localized times, Forum Icons, thread pagination, newest replies list, most popular threads (by replies), most active members, forum view access shortcuts, custom sort order of forums & categories, a new editor setup, a bug-free ‘mark all as read' shortcut, poll overhaul with custom bar coloring, armory shortcuts, better list support, and much more.
A few features that were expected to be made available by this release have had their dates pushed back for further development. Those features include RSS feeds, list of only unread threads, and new threads since my last login. These upgrades and some more new non-forum stuff will be made live for you before Cataclysm.
Another blog post will be made tomorrow once the new forums are live.
Bug fix: Character adding when armory is down
A bug causing characters being added to the system with blank names when the armory is down has been fixed. Blank characters have also been truncated from the system.

Blizzard finally announced the release date of Cataclysm! You can read the press release from the link posted in Warcraft's twitter here. Our last adjustment to the Cataclysm Countdown set the date to the 7th already, so it is good to go! Those waiting for the official release to use the widget... now is the time!

Ventrilo App - The lobby listings have returned!
Private Chat - To help speed things up, and to protect your privacy, we've truncated the private chat logs, and new messages will automatically expire after 30 minutes.
Database Adjustments - We did a couple database related adjustments to address certain latency issues that were occurring during our daily traffic apex.

Bug Fix: Roster Importing for LARGE guilds
If your guild has hundreds of members and previously had trouble importing your roster from the Armory, this bug has been fixed. You should now be able to use this feature.
Bug Fix: Guild Tabard Application
For those guilds experiencing problems with the Guild Tabard application resulting in a pink tabard, that bug has been resolved. You will need to visit the Guild Admin / Applications / Guild Tabard Settings to update yours.
Hardware Upgraded!
Last night's maintenance went smoothly, down time was roughly 15 minutes. During this time we upgraded several of the server's hardware in preparation for Cataclysm.
If you still see the maintenance screen do a hard refresh on your browser, or clear your cache to access your guild site.
The Cataclysm Countdown
Judging by the rumors and all the talk, we've got to be within days if not hours from hearing an official release date. To help spread this excitement Guildzilla now has a new widget in it's collection, the Cataclysm Countdown. This widget is a real-time animated countdown that will plug into any website that lets you post HTML. When the official release date is announced we will update the code at our end, and all counters will automatically adjust to the official date.
We also created a little guild site application that Guildzilla guild sites can use to install this widget on their homepage column. Visit Guild Admin / Applications / Browse to install the Cataclysm Countdown.

Blank Roster bug resolved.
An issue that was causing some guild's roster to show up blank when using the wowarmory feature has been resolved. You should now be able to see your roster (you may need to update it). If you have any further problems with this please contact the support team at http://support.guildzilla.com/

The vent homepage application is now properly showing sub-channels within channels. We also added a new icon to represent if a connection is a phantom.

You can now mark all of your forums as read using the link at the top right of the Forum listing page. You can also mark individual forums as all read by clicking the link at the top right of the thread listing page (for each forum).

World of Logs bug fix!
A bug with the World of Logs application that was causing some report links not to render properly has been fixed. You should now be able to access those missing reports right from your homepage again.
Boss Kill Proof: Screenshot or it didn't happen!
You can now set a screenshot to each of your progression boss kills to prove to the world that your guild has what it takes to get the kill. Guild Admins, to set a screenshot visit the progression page, click adjust progression, then click the picture icon next to each of the checkboxes. A dialog will appear that is linked to your website gallery, select the picture and it will attach! A little camera will appear to symbolize kill proof on the viewing page. Clicking this will show the full size screenshot without leaving the page.
New application: Hit Counter!
Add a hit counter to your homepage that increments with every page view, multiple styles to choose from! To install visit your Guild Admin / Applications / Browse Apps page. After installing visit the Settings page to change the display style.
Additional Database Server added!
To help balance the load during Guildzilla rush hours we've added an additional database server to the mix. This should help keep things nice and fast during those busy times.

New Premium Feature: Page Headers!
Attention Premium Guilds, you can now adjust the page headers on all of the major pages. For example on your homepage it says 'Your Guild News' , you can now change this to whatever you would like. Currently there are 17 different pages which you can adjust. Some pages like the galleries and progression will also reflect the page names in the links, like if you rename the Pictures header to something like Pics the link on the left side of the gallery (navigation) will also show the updated name.

Chatroom permission related bugs have been fixed. We also squashed a couple display related issues on the Guild Info / Links section.

New Premium Feature: Auto Ranking!
A new premium feature was added today, Auto Ranking. You can now configure your guild site to assign a rank automatically to new members of your guild site. Auto ranker can be configured to only allow auto ranking to those who have confirmed ownership of their characters, or know the secret password, or both, or just automatically when new members signup.
To configure auto ranking on your guild site visit the Guild Admin / Ranks / Auto Ranking section, and follow the instructions on that page.
We also added a new prompt that will appear to those members who are unranked, notifying them that access to some sections might be limited, and if auto ranking is on, it can be performed right from this prompt.

Bug Fixes!
A few bugs were squashed today. The Pending Recruit Application counter in the main menu should now show the proper count. Some minor bugs with private chat have also been fixed.

WebDKP: Live! EQDKP: data samples needed!
WebDKP support is now available within the Raid Loot section of your Guildzilla guild site!
If you are using a modified version of WebDKP this may not work, our testing only included the actual WebDKP format. If you are using a modified version that does not work and you would like to see it work, please email your addon details, along with data samples to support@guildzilla.com.
EQDKP Data samples are also needed! If your guild uses EQDKP as your raid loot system, please email your data samples to support@guildzilla.com so we can build support for it, title the subject as EQDKP!
Data sample is the data that is generated within the addon. Most raid loot addons have a way to export this data right from within the addon, others use a file.
New feature: Guild Message of the Day!
We are pleased to announce a new feature that has finally made it's way to Guildzilla, Guild Message of the Day or GMOTD for short. This widget lets you post a message that appears right under the navigation bar, on either the homepage, or all pages. You can also adjust who can see it between anyone or only ranked members. This feature is available to both premium and free guilds, you simply need to enable it to use it. To enable it, visit the Guild Admin / Settings page, and click the checkbox for it. As soon as you enable it you should see it appear at the top, click the edit button from any page it's shown on to set your message and adjust settings. Only guild admins can adjust the message and settings. Enjoy!
Banner Free Week starts Sunday (Aug 1st)!
To celebrate our recent traffic progression, starting this Sunday, August 1st through August 7th all Guildzilla Guild Sites will be banner free! We value all of our Guilds, and this is just one of our ways of showing support back your way.

Growing Pains!
As a result of recent spurts and growth in the Guildzilla community we will be rolling out code adjustments and some new servers to address the issue. Maintenance is scheduled for later this evening, and this will hopefully be one of the final steps for us to achieve server redundancy! We apologize for any inconvenience this down time may cause. We also want to thank all of those who have helped make Guildzilla a success! Your word of mouth referrals are truly priceless, and we would have never grown to this size so quickly without them. We are very fortunate to have such a strong and active community showing support!
New and improved picture and video galleries!
It's finally here! The new and improved galleries section. A great deal of much needed change has occurred in this section, everything from a new look, to better management, and multiple file uploading. Here is a list of all the new featuers...
A new look! You will notice the navigation is now on the left, and the upload button is now even easier to find and use. We also adjusted the display of comments, they are now similar to those found on the homepage news posts.
Pages upon pages! We added a new paging system to galleries, for those with extra large collections. We also changed the way the pictures are ordered, oldest is now first.
Folder permissions! You can now specify which ranks have access to viewing uploads in specific folders, so if your guild has a folder of real life pictures, that you want to keep out of the public eye you can now do so, to adjust folder permissions click on a folder on a left, and at the top right you will see an Eye icon, click this to select who can see it. Only guild admins have access to the permissions setting.
Cleaner, multi-file uploading system! The way we store uploads has changed, the new method wont error out if you have crazy characters in your folder or file names. We also added the ability to upload upto 5 pictures at once.
Galleries are now on the activity feed! Whenever someone uploads a picture or video, or even comments on an upload you will see it in the member activity feed. To access the member activity feed click the link at the top of the page under your avatar (when you are logged in).
Real-time thumbnail generation! This release features real-time thumbnail generation. Thumbnails are generated right when you upload pictures. Less waiting more win.
Full-size next/last navigation! You can now browse your gallery without having to hop back and forth from the thumbnail list. At the top right of the picture you will see last/next links, clicking these will continue browsing through the current folder.
Just a heads up, if you land on the new galleries and there appears to be a lot of broken stuff, this is most likely the result of your browser serving cached javascript and css files on top of the new code foundation. If this happens to you or one of your guildies be sure to hard refresh your browser to load the new files before contacting support.

PayPal donation widget is live!
After many requests we've finally released a PayPal donation application for your guild websites. Use this app to collect donations from your guildies and visitors to help pay for premium services, voice servers, etc etc.
If this app sees a good amount of uses we will improve it to include a list of who donated, and how much.

Guild Site Ownership Transfers and Claims
Over the weekend we added a new tool to the main section of Guildzilla for Guild Site transfers and claims. If you are the current owner of the web site you can now transfer it completely to someone else. Transfers are instant.
The other part of this system is claims, which work a little differently. Claims are designed for Guildmasters to claim ownership of a guild site created for their guild by another person. You must be the Guildmaster to submit a claim. Claims are not instant and are manually reviewed and decided on by the Guildzilla team.

Is your guild importing it's roster from the armory?
If so you will be happy to hear that you can now adjust the display rank names through the Roster / Config section of your guild site. No more 'Rank #' labels! This is optional, and does take a moment of your time, but you won't need to update it again unless you change your guild rank names around.
My Characters / Custom Navigation
The character page has been greatly improved. We made it easier to get around, rebuilt the backend code, and added a new feature Character Confirmations.
Character confirmations add an optional layer of security to your site, where member's confirm ownership of the character they are using on your guild sites. When a member decides to confirm a character they will be asked to equip or unequip a few items in-game, once they do this they are asked to logout and wait for the armory to update. Once the armory reflects the change in equipment they click a button to complete the confirmation process. Characters that are confirmed will show a star next to their name on the Guild Admin / Member list.
Now using this is completely optional, but the added layer of security does come in handy if you require your members to perform this confirmation before you give them a rank on your guild site. This will help keep out pesky saboteurs you may have lingering around your site due to your guild's in-game popularity/reputation (it does happen, we do get some reports).
Also in this update we brought back the famous Recruitment and Chatroom counters for those guild's utilizing the custom navigation system.
In the next few days we will be releasing a way for Guild Masters to take claim of their guild's website if the original creator is no longer around, as well as a way for those using the Roster from Armory to assign rank names to the rank numbers.
Later this week (maybe early next week) we will be releasing another set of updates which will include permissions on folders in the galleries, minor touch ups in the forums, a paypal donation application and a few other small improvements which we will talk about later on.

Roster Improvements
The ability to build the roster from the armory data is now available on Guildzilla! To configure visit the Roster page and click the Config button at the top right of the page. You can update your armory data at any time by visiting this page and clicking the Update Now link. Premium guilds can enable auto-updating which will keep your roster loaded with the latest information for you.
Also new on the roster, a new sortable list view is now available, click the icon at top right of the roster page to toggle over. You can organize this list by clicking on headers.
Customizable Navigation
Premium guilds can now customize the main navigation bar, you can rearrange, remove, add and rename any of the links. To access this visit the Guild Admin / Customize / Navigation page.
Multiple Members per Specialty Rank
Many of you have asked for this, and you can now set multiple people to each specialty rank, including the co-webmaster. To access this page visit the Guild Admin / Ranks / Specialty Ranks page.
New WYSIWYG Editor!
We've installed a new WYSIWYG editor on Guildzilla called CKEditor, it's been highly recommended by a handful of sources as a solid improvement on our previous one TinyMCE, let us know what you think. Unfortunately this one doesn't work on mobile devices but it should still give you a text box to work in (unlike the old one). We installed CKEditor with the minimal features, so if there were special features you really enjoyed in the old one please let us know and we can activate them for you on CKEditor.
What's next?
Next up we have some minor alterations in stock for the Galleries, My Characters and Forums sections of the guild sites. We are also working on a Mobile platform, and a Guildzilla PTR, where you can test out the new features before they go live. Finally we have a couple new applications coming your way in the coming days.

Facebook Like Widget
You can now add a Facebook powered Like button to your guild sites via the Guild Admin / Applications section. When clicked it will post a message on the users facebook page advertising your guild site!

Guild Site login improvements
We did a number of changes to the login page/system today. For starters we trimmed down the page, eliminating all external sources from loading on page (external javascript libraries, banners, etc). We also improved the Forgot Password tool, as well as added a new recovery tool for those who forgot their email address. We also improved account security with additional IP checks.

The Ruby Sanctum
The Ruby Sanctum was added to the Calendar, Progression Boss Kills & Progression Achievements pages today in preparation for it's upcoming release.

All guilds now have the ability to activate a 7 day free no-risk no-agreement premium trial, simply login to your guild admin and on your summary page you will see an option to activate your free trial. The free trial option will appear only to guilds that are not already premium and have not used it yet.
Shoutbox Bugs SQUASHED!
Those experiencing duplicate msg posts to the shoutbox during latent periods will be happy to know this bug is now fixed. Also fixed is ability to post blank messages. We also added the ability for the Guild Admin and Co-webmasters to delete messages posted on the shoutbox.
Guild Tabard App!
We added a new little application today that will display your guild's tabard. Visit the Applications section of your Guild Admin to install it.
Forum Colors, Avatars and Signatures!
Premium guilds now have a couple new forum abilities!
You can now customize the thread coloring, toggle from default (class coloring) to your own color scheme.
You can now allow your guildies to use custom avatars and signatures, both of which are editable from the My Characters page.
To customize your forums, enable avatars, and signatures visit the Guild Admin > Forums > Customization page.

Guildzilla Apps - Ordering
We took out the UP and Down arrows that were used to organize the display order of your Guild's Guildzilla Apps. Now you just drag and drop the row (or icon) to change this display order.
GuildOx and World of Logs Apps!
New to the Applications section is the GuildOx and World of Logs Apps!
The GuildOx app allows you to show your guild's progressive rankings and recent achievements for 10man and 25man raids as gathered by GuildOx.com. This app has a number of settings, from toggling 10 and 25man displays, to hiding and showing rankings/achievements. You can also adjust how the rankings work (boss kills or achievements). View the GuildOx app on the Spatula City guildsite.
World of Logs app will spit out a list of your guild's most recent reports generated by WorldofLogs.com, for quick and easy access. In the settings page you can customize who can see it (by rank).
Teamspeak 3 App
The Teamspeak 3 app was touched up, it now looks like our Vent Widget, the ability to refresh it will be available soon.
JQuery transformation Step 1 -- Complete
Step 1 of our JQuery transformation is now complete, it consisted of modifying about 800 segments of code which was previous coded in MooTools. If you experience any problems with any pages please let us know. This was a big update to lots of files on our system. Please contact us if you run into any issues!
The next step will be page by page transformation and the final result will be a faster, and easier to improve Guildzilla, with the added ability to allow 3rd party developers the privileged to create there own Apps.

This change effects all current premium guilds, and all future ones, and applies to all members in your guild. Guildzilla now features a shoutbox! Add the shoutbox to your guild site through the Applications section of the Guild Admin. Users must be logged in, and ranked to use the shoutbox. Let us know if you have any problems or requests to make it better! Enjoy!
Raid Time added to Recruiting Guild Widget
Looking for a way to get your guild to use your website calendar?
Average raid time, which is based on data gathered from using your website Calendar is now shown on our Recruiting Guild Finder Widget. Not all data is used when figuring these calculations, and data shown only reflects the data from the previous month. The Raid Count figure represents the sample (number of events) size used to perform the calculation for the time.
I love stats, and had to know, and just in case anyone is wondering, the overall , all servers, all world, all guilds combined average raid time starts around 6:45PM server.
Teamspeak 3 App!
Our Teamspeak 3 App is finally ready for your guild! It's homebrewed, like everything at guildzilla, so please report any problems/bugs/suggestions to our contact form. Shoutbox App should be ready tomorrow! To add this app visit the Applications section of the guild admin, click 'Browse Apps', then click the Install button. You will need to configure it after installing, and this app is only programmed to work with TS3. If you are still using Teamspeak 2 let us know and if the demand is there we will whip up an app for it.
WoWProgress Rankings App!
Fresh off the press is a sweet little homepage app that will show off your guild's wowprogress.com rankings. You can customize this app to show a specific, or all tiers, as well as specific or both raid types (10man/25man). Data for this app comes from that data pulled in from your Progression > Rankings page. To install this app login to the guild admin, click the applications tab, click browse, then select 'install' next to the new app.
Guildzilla Apps!
Applications have made their way to Guildzilla guild sites! The right hand column of your homepages can now be customized, pick the applications you want to show, set the titles, tweak the settings, and adjust the order. Currently the collection consists of all the ones that were previous on Guildzilla. We will be whipping up applications every week and adding them to the system, so keep your eyes peeled and send in your requests!
To adjust your applications login to your Guild Admin and visit the Applications page. You will see a list of all your currently installed apps. On the left you will see a link to 'Browse Apps'. Clicking this link will take you to the list of apps not already on your guild site. Your already installed apps can be customized by clicking the 'Settings' button next to each.
Each application has it's own settings, be sure to visit each of these pages to tweak the app to your needs. For example, the slideshow now has the ability to specify a specific folder, so if you have a folder setup for all of your Progression Screenshots you can show just these on your slide show.
If you choose to remove all apps your homepage will now stretch the full screen, and collapse the column.
In the coming days we will be releasing the following apps: Wow-Progress Rankings, Shoutbox, Teamspeak 3 Status, World of Logs Listing, Warcraft Server Status, Member Activity feeds and more! We will announce the release of these apps on this blog, so stay tuned!
1,000+ Guild Signups for April
April isn't even over yet and we've already had over 1,000 Guild Signups this month! Thank you to all who have shown your support in-game, and on the forums. Without your help Guildzilla would have never reached this point as fast as it has. To celebrate we have a bunch of new features and improvements we will be releasing this weekend.
Multiboxing the webserver!
Today we released another webserver, we are now officially multiboxing the webservers on guildzilla. If you experience any sort of unusual problems please let us know! The site should run even faster now.
Private Chat to Premium
On Saturday May1st, the person to person private chat widget will become a Premium Only feature. Originally this transformation was going to also include the Chatroom, but we've decided to leave the Chatroom as a free option for now.
Loot History, Chatroom & Private Chat rebuilt!
We have finished recoding the Loot History tool, the Chatroom, and the Private Chat widget. The new versions are now live.
Loot History will now perform a search, this will give you the ability to specify which specific item you are trying to add (like heroic / non-heroic loot). Many of you who were having problems finding certain loot should give it another try and report to us if you are still having issues.
Chat room and Private chat have had a full code revamp, functionality should be stronger, and less buggy then the previous copies. Private chat now has much wider, easier to read windows, check it out!

Startup Page
You and your members now have the option to specify your default startup page, by default it will direct you and your members to the news page after logging in, however you can change this by visiting the Settings page once you are logged in.
Guildzilla: 10 man mode
By request of one of our wow forum friends we have added the ability to transform your guild site into a 10man mode. The default will still be 25man, and to do the switch you will need to visit Guild Admin > Settings page, there is a checkbox to enable/disable this 10man mode. This mode simply removes the 25man related content from the progression and calendar pages. Thanks for the idea Shodowz of Dreadmaul!
Guild Member Activity Feeds Live
When you login to your guild site you will notice a new page showing off the recent activity by any member in your guild. You can access this page anytime by clicking the 'Member Activity' or your avatar icon in the top right portion of the page. Now you can see exactly what has happened on your guild site since your last visit!

Title says it all, we will be adding on-site activity feeds, this will show you recent activity performed by you and your fellow guild members across your site.

It seems people are enjoying the profile gifts, so we just gave all current members 10 free tokens to play with, have fun!
Profile are live! Well almost...
Visit your Roster page and click on someone... You no longer get taken to the armory, instead you end up at a sweet little profile page about the users. Post comments, see recent achievements and loots, browse pictures, and send virtual gifts!
Over the next 48 hours we will be linking up profiles to user icons across your guild site.
View IPs / Last Login Times / Block IPs
New security features have been added to the guild admin of your guild site. Visit the 'Security' tab within the Guild Admin to see the tools. You can lookup IPs, lookup Members (see IPs and Last Logins), and you can Block IPs from accessing your site. Forum threads will also show IPs for Guild Admins. These features are only accessible if you are a premium guild.
Guild Admin Design and Minor Improvements
The guild admin should now match the styling of the main portion of your guild site, making it a little bit more precise when customizing and tweaking.
We also added a few tweaks to functionality controls for Ranks and Members. Ranks now have the ability to be renamed. The Members section now has the ability to collapse and show each rank of members, making browsing a little easier for larger guilds.
Global Guild News and WowProgress EU fix!
Today we fixed the WowProgress Progression Tab Rankings that were bugging out for our EU friends. Please let us know if you continue to have issues.
We also added a new section on the frontend portion of Guildzilla where you can browse News posted by all Guilds on Guildzilla, check it out click here. When browsing you can filter by day and server, this will give you the ability to see just the news that happened on your server, at the time you specify. Check it out and let us know what you think!

We have enabled the ability for you CSS experts out there to completely customize your guild's website. From the Guild Admin visit Customization > Advanced CSS Customization. This pushes our customization ability to a new level.

For those of you interested in our premium service, but not a fan of subscriptions, we now have the option to do a one-time non-subscription payment for your Premium Guild Account service. Never be re-billed, and no PayPal account is required.
Private Chat & Chatroom Growing Pains
The private instant messaging and guild chatroom features will be converted over to Premium Only features around the middle of this month. Unfortunately they are causing some server related growing pains as a free site feature.

New Support System Under Development
As we continue to grow we are experiencing a few growing pains in different areas, the most important of which being our customer support system. We decided now would be the best time to redesign this system, before our que gets backed up even further, this new system will function more like a ticket system then the current forum type system. We are taking it a few steps further to help notify the ticket submitter of updates on their tickets. Right now we don’t have any sort of notifications tied in, which leaves some tickets opened for days before we get our follow up replies. This new system will expire tickets if no response is posted within 72 hours of our replies. Expired tickets can be reopened any time just by replying, they are simply moved out of our pending que while you take the time you need to answer them, and when you do answer they will appear back in our que. This new system will help us manage our support side of things a little better as we continue to grow. We want to thank you for your patience and understanding while we transfer to the new setup.
We have another slue of updates and improvements coming in April, more details will be posted on them as they are released, so keep tabs on this blog , our facebook group, or our twitter page if you want to stay up to date.
Calendar Statistics
Under your calendar you will now see a listing of statistics for each player. Statistics include counts of each Calendar Event Status (Confirmed, Accepted, Standby, Declined, Out). You can sort this data by toggling on the headers of the table. In the coming days we will add a permission to isolate which ranks can view these stats. Stats are currently all time, a toggle for date range will be available soon. These stats and the player role feature will be available only to premium guilds after April 15th 2010.
Player Roles added to Calendar
Your players can now specify raid roles when signing up for calendar events. The options are: Tank, Heal, DPS. Players only have to set the option once, and it is visible at the top of the main calendar. Players must be logged in to see this feature.
Premium Price Adjustments - Last chance!
On Thursday (April 1st 2010) we will be raising our rates for new premium subscribers (this does not effect current subscribers) and our logo design service. Our base month to month rate will be raised to $6.99 (from $5.99), and our logo design service will be raised to $24.99 (from $16.99). 3month, 6month and 1 year subscription prices will be adjusted to reflect the adjustment of our monthly rate. We will also be adjusting our turn around time for logo designs from 48 hours to 2-3 business days. If you are thinking about premium Upgrade now and save your self some cash!

World of Logs has given us permission to integrate listing data into Guildzilla. In the near future you can expect to see support for this! Thanks WoL!
Bug: Character Update from WowArmory FIXED!
If your server name has a space in it you were probably having trouble updating your character via the Armory Icon on the My Characters page. This problem has been resolved.
Quick DKP v2.6.7 (QDKP) support added to Raid Loot tab!
You can now use the Raid Loot tab if your guild uses Quick DKP (v2.6.7). Just make sure you update to the latest version (updated March 9th) of the add-on (Curse Link), as this is the version that has the export capabilities.
Premium Prices going up
This does not effect you if you are already a premium subscriber, your price will never go up.
On April 1st 2010 we will be raising our premium service prices. Monthly subscriptions will start at $6.99 (going up $1.00). Logo designs will be raised to $24.99 (going up $8.00). If you are thinking about going premium, now is the time to do it, as when you subscribe your price will always stay the same and not be effected by us raising it at our end, price adjustments only effect new subscribers.

Raid Loot System Live!
If you haven't noticed yet there is a new tab at the top of your guild sites, designed specifically for loot system management. This 2 part system features listing/ranking of your loot lists, and a loot history section where you can announce recent loot earned by your guildies. Right now only the guildmaster has access to maintaining these sections, in the next couple days we will integrate permission rank support as well as a specialty rank for this section.
Loot Lists
The loot lists page is designed so we can easily add support for new add-ons to it. This initial launch includes support for: EPGP, KonferSK, and Suicide Kings. In the very near future (maybe as early as next week) this section will include support for Quick DKP and MorgDKP. You can even toggle between each of the systems, and your data from old system is never lost. Please keep in mind we do plan on adding to the list of supported add-ons, and one way you can help is by requesting support for your add-ons (please make sure they have exporting capabilities) using our contact page. Future plans also include support for viewing previous versions of the listed data.
KSK & SK have class coloring support, to make it a little easier on the eyes.
EPGP List supports the ability of sorting the list by various columns. This feature will also be available for the DKP modules scheduled for rollout in the coming days.
Loot History
This cool little page lets you record who won what, it is built around wowhead, all you have to do is select the person, enter the name of the item and hit add. If you spelled it properly wowhead will spit back the data we need to generate the tooltip link for you. This tool will also notify you if someone already received an item (perhaps they forgot about it and it's gathering dust in the bank), along with a count of how many times and the last recorded date. Future plans for this section include a stream on the homepage column, this data will also be used on the upcoming player profiles.
Just some final thoughts, in our eyes the Loot System is still in its early stages, there is a great deal we plan on adding onto it, and any thoughts, bugs or ideas you have please mail us through our contact form. The loot system is currently available to both FREE and Premium Guild sites.
Post Comments on your Guild News!
We now have news comments live. Everyone can see comments, but there is a permission in the guild admin to enable who all can post them. Users must also be logged in to post them. Currently only the guild admins can remove comments, but we will add a permission for this here soon. Enjoy guys!

This morning we upgraded the database server, the down time was approximately 10 minutes. This new upgrade included doubling the RAM, CPU Power, and Storage Capacity.

Server reboot last night
Late last night we had to reboot one of the servers, the outage was approximately 5 minutes.
Loot System expected release: Next week!
Since we managed to rollout with the European Server support a few days early we are aiming to get our Loot System integrated by next week. The Loot System is a new page that will have 2 subsections, the loot management system, and the loot history page. The Loot System will be a Premium Guild Site Feature.
New Option: Hide the Black Transparent Frame over the Background
You can now hide the black semi-transparent frame that sits on top of the background. To hide this visit the Guild Admin > Customize > Background page.

Bug Fix: Forum Spacing Issue
A CSS bug was preventing extra lines from showing within forum posts, if you are still having trouble with this just send us a buzz with a link to your forum post.
Custom Domains added! Use your own domain names!
You can now use your own custom domain names for your guild site! To add a domain visit the Guild Admin > Settings > Custom Domains page. Example: wowSpatula.com
Bugs Bugs and more Bugs Fixed!
So our server moved produced a handful of bugs that were causing some wicked issues. These have been resolved, here is a list of them...
1. Ventrilo Status was breaking, this was a result of permissions being adjusted on the file by the server. We have fixed the server to prevent future modifications to this file.
2. Evil Slashes, anywhere you would use a ' or " would result in a slash being placed in front of it, this would cause video embeding to break. The cause of this was "magic quotes" being enabled on the server, we have disabled this and you shouldn't have this problem again with any of your new posts. Old posts will need to be edited or deleted by hand.
3. Text Editor toolbar buttons not working. This was a result of our lighthttpd server not being configured for HTM files, this has been resolved and the text editor should be fully functional again.
If you find any bugs please submit them so we can get them fixed.
Server Move sometime within Next 24 hours
Our new cloud setup is finally ready and we will do our switch over here sometime in the next 24 hours. During the move your site will not be available. The down time should be minimal, a matter of minutes our admin says. Woot!

Just added a new what you see is what you get text editor to the system, for now we have it on news & forums, after we gather some feedback on it we will push it to all the other spots where the old text editor appears.
Forum Category Color Customization
You now have the ability to adjust coloring of the Forum Category Bar. Visit Guild Admin > Customization > Colors for details.
Forums Thread List improved!
We made some visual tweaks to the Forum Thread List, and it now also includes data bout the Last Reply!
New feature: Move Forum Threads!
Clicking the 
(move icon) on the first post of any thread will let you move the thread to another forum. The permission to move thread is shared with the permission to lock threads. Visit the Guild Admin > Permissions page for more details.
New feature: Forum Categories!
You can now organize your forums into categories! To set them up visit Guild Admin > Forums > Forum Categories, then go through and Edit each of your current Forums and select a category for each one.
New feature: Gallery Thumbnails!
After a redesign of our code we've finally brought back Gallery Picture Thumbnails!
Thumbnails are generated through there own process, meaning they will take up to 1minute to generate from when you upload. A placeholder will show until your thumbnail is created.
Over sized uploaded pictures are also now being re-sized for faster loading.
Server Move Soon
Hey guys, we will be moving Guildzilla to a more permanent hosting environment in the coming days. The only downtime will be whatever it takes for your internet connection to update it's records on where our website is stored (for some it will take a few minutes, for others it might take up to a few hours).
Why the move? The main reason for this move is to get Guildzilla on a more stable solution as it continues to rapidly grow. We are moving Guildzilla from a dedicated server to what the web calls a 'Cloud'. This will make it a much easier process for us to expand and we are really excited about this move.
After the move we will be coming out with a chain of upgrades, most of which involve the forum and calendar, we will also be opening up our service a little more so guilds can use there own domain names (myguildsname.com).

Delete Declined Recruit Applications
Just added the ability to delete declined applications. Anyone who can view this page can delete applications, however the application must be in the declined status. Keep in mind when you delete someones application from the declined section they can drop off a new one. Keeping them declined but not deleted will prevent that person from re-applying.

Logo Builder improved!
We made the logo builder even easier to use, you no longer have to download the logo then fumble through the guild admin to install it, you can do it all instantly from the logo builder page with the click of just one button.
We also changed the fail safe on it, so those who have experienced problems in the past with getting an empty logo should no longer experience this.
Last call for Free Premium Guildzilla Accounts
Weds. the 10th of Feb will be the deadline for guilds to signup and qualify for free premium guildzilla guild account, for life. Premium will keep your guildsite from showing advertisements, give you priority listings in the new search widgets (recruitment/recipes), as well as a number of other features. To qualify you must have your site created before Weds the 10th, and have at least 10 members signed up on it.
Frontend Version 2.0
Today we released a new frontend for guildzilla.com. We also added a few new features to it such as the Recruiting Guild Finder and the Recipe Finder widgets.
Advertisements ... coming soon (for new guild sites only).
This will only effect new guild sites and non-active ones. After implementation, active (must have at least 10 members on your site) guild sites will be banner free for the life of Guildzilla, for free, our little reward for all the help you've provided with your feedback during our early stages.
I hate Ads, why Ads? Well we've just about reached the point where we need to start bringing in cash to keep the site free and growing strong, hosting bills do add up, so we will be implementing a single 728x90 banner under the main navigation in the coming days.
Will you offer a way to remove the Ad? We will offer a premium service at an affordable rate, which will include removal of ads.
Remember this implement will only apply to new and nonactive guild websites. If you already have one with us and you are actively using it your site will remain banner free, for free, for the life of Guildzilla.
Cloud-zilla
We're giving great consideration to moving Guildzilla to a Cloud Hosting environment, seems to be the way of the future, and is great for scaling as guildzilla rapidly grows. If you have any feedback on this we would love to hear from you through our contact form.
New Races have invaded the calendar!
Say goodbye to Mr. Gnome, some new faces have invaded the calendar event window.
Class/Spec Specific Recruiting Added
New set of tools added to our recruitment system, you can now specify specific classes and specs that your guild is currently looking for and this info will show up on your recruitment page, and on your homepage. To specify class/spec combos visit the Recruitment Intro page, and click the 'Edit Recruitment Settings' link, you will see a new option, select 'Specific Classes/Specs' then go through the options and select the ones you are looking to recruit, hit save at the bottom. This function will not prevent people from applying, it's simply here to help guilds give applicants a little more directions towards what the guild needs.
Character Select Screen adjusted
Trying another style for the character select screen, hopefully this one will stick.
Slight Tweaks to Calendar Signup Lists
We adjusted the way Calendar Events organize signups, it's now based on Date/Time of last status action. You can also hover over the player's character name to see the associated time.
Guild Recipes (adjustments) - Links Moved
We decided to make guild recipes it's own section rather then part of the Guild Information tab. We also have it setup so people can add there own recipes, you do however have to give them access to do this through your guild admin permissions panel, under custom pages will be an option for adding themselves to the recipe lists. We also moved the Links tab to a sub-section of guild information, as we felt it didn't really need it's own top-level section.
Guild Recipes
New section added today, a sub-page of Guild Information called 'Guild Recipes' and you guessed it, this page is to showcase your crafter's rare recipes. Members have the ability to add themselves and you (the guild webmaster) can add multiple people to each recipe through the 'Adjust Recipes' link. Right now we have it showing ICC/ToC/Ulduar & epic JC recipes. To access this page visit the Guild Information main tab, then click the 'Guild Recipes' button.
More Color Fixes, Permission Setup, Galleries Misc Folder

Vent Module Improved
Today the homepage vent module was recoded to handle multiple levels of sub-channels. We also made slight adjustments to the visuals to make it easier to read.
Bug Fixes
Recruit Into Text was having editing issues for those using BBCode instead of HTML, this has been resolved.
Gallery Video Posting was having permission related issues, these have been resolved.
Outage Report
On Jan 11, 2010 at approximately 2:45 PM EST our server was down for approximately 10-15 minutes. The problem has been identified and fixed.
Recruitment Pending Count
If your guild rank allows you to view recruitment applications you will see a count of how many pending applications are waiting on the main menu bar, as a clickable number next to the 'Recruitment' button. Clicking this number will take you right to the list.
Galleries Improved, now serving thumbnails!
The boring list of files had to go, sorry to those who liked that, we might bring it back as an optional view in the future, but after analyzing traffic it appeared as if not too many people were navigating through the galleries, perhaps because not too many people bother to rename the files to something with recognition. We decided the best way handle this was to integrate thumbnail views. Let us know what you think!
News Navigator
Added the ability to navigate back in time on your news posts (links at bottom of news page).
Guild Links
By request, added a new tab today for Links, here you can post all the links you want your guildies and visitors to access. There are no viewing permissions (anyone can see them), however only guildmaster / webmaster / co-webmasters can add links/folders. Enjoy!
Recently Active Threads replaced...
Since the Recently Active Threads were virtually the same as the newest we decided to replace this column with Most Popular Threads, ordered by views.

- additional calendar rank permissions (edit others, adjust signup status, lock/unlock events)
- calendar custom labels instead of raid/event displayed on the main calendar console. (defaults to raid/event name during add).
- calendar master special rank (enables all calendar permissions for a single individual)
- calendar lock event (prohibits people from signing up after locked (can also unlock locked events)).

Recruitment Additional Questions
We had a few requests for this feature, on recruit applications you can now send additional questions to be answered by the applicant. Questions can be asked by anyone who can view the application and post comments. Answers can not be adjusted or removed from applicants. Anyone with proper viewing access will be able to see the answers.
Birthday Prompts
If you have a rank disabled on your roster, birthdays for members of this rank will not be shown on your homepage & calendar anymore.
To make a rank stop showing birthdays and displaying on the roster visit Guild Admin > Ranks > and uncheck the checkboxes next to each rank you wish to hide.
Bug Fixes
- If vent disabled for non-logged in members, homepage was stalling on loading who's online.
- Forum images pushing beyond page borders has been resolved for browsers having problems with this.
- Recruit application was defaulting to first choice for radio answers regardless of users input, or if the user even answered. Original input data was unharmed, it was simply a display bug.
Color Tweaking
Finding and fixing color tweaks as a result of our new color customization system, if you see any spots that need it, or have any ideas for it please submit them via the Request Feature toolbar action.
Vent Privacy Issues
Within your Guild Admin > Settings > Ventrilo page you can now adjust who can see the vent status output shown on your homepage (shows whos currently on vent), by default everyone can see it but if you want just your raiders to see it you can now do that. All you have to do is select the minimum rank, guildzilla will do the rest.

Wowhead Powered by Re-Enabled, fixed!
So last we heard, wowhead was forwarding our request to the dev team. They didn't contact us back but today we discovered that wowhead links are working again, so we re-enabled them, thanks wowhead!
Hide Ranks on Roster
Within the Guild Admin section visit the Ranks page, from there you will see a list ranks, with a checkbox next to each one, unclicking the checkbox will hide this rank from the roster page.
Achievement Progression & Wowprogress Rankings
Added two new sections to the Progression page, one with Raid Dungeon Achievements (mostly hard modes and a few insane ones), and another page for wowprogress rankings. Ranking data will update daily. Guildmaster's who assigned a progression manager will automatically carry over privileges to the new achievement page.
Wowhead Powered By Disabled, bugged?
So after poking around Guildzilla for about 2 hours it turns out the chain of errors occuring last night were a result of an out of our hands JS issue. The wowhead item tool tips code took a turn for the worst and was the cause of the disaster. I have disabled Wowhead tooltips and have notified there team. I will continue to check to see if they fix it, until then, everything else should function just fine. Please report any issues with the bug report tool.
Wowprogress Module
We received permission from Wowprogress to implement ranking data into Guildzilla guild sites! In the coming days the progression page will feature data pulled from wowprogress pertaining to ranks. We will feature all available tiers and ranks. Data for this will be updated automatically. Will make another post once this is implemented. If there are any other sites out there that have guild related stats or info that you would like to see plugged into your guildzilla site please let us know using the feature request tool.
Progression Page Live
Keep tabs on your Guild's Boss Killing progression with the new Progression Tab. Equipped with all WoTLK dungeons. Guildmasters, you can also set a person to be your progression manager from your specialty ranks page. Future plans for this section include the ability to post screenshots for each kill. Achievement progression implements for hard modes / etc are currently being planned in the think tank. More info on these new implements soon.
Progression Widget on the way!
Starting on the progression widget, thinking about making a separate page for it to support all the ideas i have for it. Going to have 2 sub-sections, one will be Boss Kill Progression, other will be Achievement Progression. Features such as screenshots / roster / commenting will also be featured in this section. More info soon.
Recruitment Updates
Just added a couple new small things to the view application pages of the recruitment system. Anyone who can view the applications can now send the applicant a message by clicking the 
icon. This features uses the internal mail system, so if and when the applicant replies it will show up in your own mailbox on your website.
Also added timestamps to applications and application feedback. Any new feedback from this point on will have the date attached. Old feedback however will show a set of zeros.

Guild Co-Webmaster
Added a new specialty rank, this one will enable you to select someone to help you co-manage your guild website by giving them full access to your site and guild admin. You can select your co-webmaster within the guild admin > ranks > specialty ranks page.
Armory Updates
Users can now update the armory data of there characters from the character select screen. Here is how... After logging in, click your icon in the header, this will take you to the Character Select Screen. Each character box has a link labeled 'Update', clicking this will instantly update the users data from armory. Future plans do include automatic updating, but for right now this simple manual method should work for those who need it.
Frontend Done, back to the Guildsite
Thank you everyone for being patient, I just finished the Frontend of Guildzilla.com for beta, which means I can now get back to working on bugs & features on the guild platform. I will be starting off with those submitted through the ticket system. So if you have ideas or find bugs please be sure to check out the post below titled 'Feature Request & Bug Reports'.

The bugs causing members to have issues signing up within Internet Explorer 7 & 8 have been resolved.
Logo Builder
Made a little tool for those of you who don't know how or know anyone who can make a logo for you. Within the guild admin / customize / logo page there is a link to the Logo Builder, a quick little tool that will help you get the job done. Check it out.
My Account section created.
The My Account section will now let members change email, password, birth & gender.
Additional plans for this section in the near future will consist of various system related notifications.
Feature Requests & Bug Reports
Two new sections added today, one for bug reports, the other for requesting features. Both of these can be found on the floating menu that is visible when you login, look for these icons: 
. Each of these sections will list off reports and requests submitted by members of your guild, anyone in the guild can append to them and submit new ones. The development team can also post responses to your inquires within.
Calendar Upgraded (next months events!)
Made some use out of the empty space on the calendar.
Scenario (before): It's the end of November, next week is start of December, you got raids already scheduled for next week but barely anyone has signed up since the calendar hasn't rolled over to the next month...
Solution (after): NOW... At the bottom of the current month in the leftover placeholders you can see and scheduled new events for the upcoming month without toggling over to it.
This update will save you and your guildies the following...
1. Precious time (in micro amounts!)
2. Clicking energy, one less click equals one more click in raids!
3. The number of brain cells required to recognize that events are scheduled for next month has also been greatly reduced.
Next up: Feature & Bug Requests
So we need a place for people to submit bugs & features. I'm going to work on this next, it will function like a forum thread, where the reporter can communicate back and forth with me regarding the bug/feature. Access to these sections will be through the floating bottom bar, an Icon for bugs and a separate icon for features, these Icons will only be visible during guildzilla's beta stage.
Mailbox is complete!
Fresh on guildzilla is a new system, a mailbox! Players can send private mail to each other, as well as spark private conversation with multiple guildies. Mailbox supports HTML posting (but currently not BBCode (maybe later)). Mail messages are organized in a conversation fashion, replies appear under the original message (the convo starter). Conversations can include any number of guild members. To access your mailbox you can click the link under your portrait image (in the header), or click the mail icon on the bottom floating bar (far left button). Permissions & restrictions still need to be developed for this section, hopefully have those done soon.
Mail vs Conversations
So I decided instead of the boring traditional user to user mail systems that you see everywhere that I would do something a little different, currently under development is a private ongoing conversation system. this will function like email but will enable you to include multiple people within the conversation, moderated by the conversation starter. You will be able to add people and remove people from the conversation at any time. People who get added will also be able to see the previous dialog. This will function like a cross between forums & email. More info once I'm finished...
Deleted Characters
Before: When a character was deleted various elements through the site failed, any posts on forums would loose coloring, on pages, character icons would vanish, and most importantly, on guild recruitment applications specifics as to who the person was were lost.
Now: When a character is deleted, a backup record of that character is created, preserving any actions they performed from that character on the site. In other words, the bugs labeled above have been fixed.
Follow up on Guild Admin
Here is a list of the new features...
Delete Character - Found on the Member's page, works for main characters and alts. Deleting characters will no longer cause old data to corrupt.
Vent Info - Previously this was hard coded based on the data collected through the initial conversation, however now, this information is editable, within the 'Settings' section of the admin.
Welcome & Signup Message - Customize your own welcome and signup messages by visiting the 'Settings' section.
Usage Reports - How much are your members actually using your guild site? Find out this and more on the 'Summary' section.
Guildzilla News - Any news that appears in this blog will also appear within the admin under the 'Summary' section.
Bug Fixes: Evil Slashes
Fixed a query related security flaw and a site-wide bug. You may have noticed when posting data that \ marks we're appearing. This should be fixed up now, let me know if you come across any.

Porting this Blog into the Guild Admin
I figured a great way to keep guild webmasters like yourself connected with Guildzilla updates was to tie this blog right into the Guild Admin. So, on the summary tab you will see a button labeled 'Guildzilla News', clicking it will show the latest posts from this blog.
Building the Admin
Alright, I've finally allocated the time to work on the Guild Admin side of things. I decided the best direction was to break it out of it's shell and make a new section out of it. Doing so has given me so much more room to work with, as a result, plenty of room for future upgrades!
A few things will be moved around, but nothing drastic, I am aiming to get this new Admin system tied in by the end of this week. So keep your eyes posted for another update here on the blog.

So, I figured it would be best to setup a little blog to help keep everyone in tune with what's going on here at Guildzilla HQ. I'll be using this blog to post bug fixed, new features, upgrades, and news related to the Guildzilla project.
